The Story Teller

She never lacked an opinion and she was happy to share it. But with her, you always knew she would fight an army to stand by you. She was the picture of strength, feistiness and humor. She also was passionate about fragrant flowers. So, the service was designed to highlight her love of flowers, life and…gossip. The funeral home was filled with candid photos of her as a young child, with her children, grandchildren and great grand children. The casket was surrounded by too many flowers to count. During the service, family and friends read letters she had written them over the years and shared some of her more inventive stories. At the graveside service, her vault was engraved with a woman holding a child in her arms symbolizing her undying support for her family and the beautiful woman she was. Each person attendance was also given a rosebud as they left the service.

This celebration of life was held in Lee’s Summit, MO.
